AAngell is an experimental music project and the brainchild of musician/producer/entrepreneur Scott Barber. AAngell is a truly artistic endeavor that paints an interpretive picture of day-to-day life and experiences.

AAngell music incorporates topics ranging from observations to life lessons, but also delves into unexplained phenomenon, spirituality and esoteric thought. The music is intended to invoke a variety of reactions from the listener and to provoke thought and individual interpretation.

There are many elements that set AAngell apart from other endeavors. AAngell songs are not intended to be performed. No two songs are intended to fit together in a commercial sense. It is intentionally experimental, purposely throwing aside the commercial “rules” and conventional thought process of music production. The production style is musically and acoustically dimensional, utilizing some of the most advanced surround sound and techniques in existence. As opposed to most experimental projects, it is produced in a world class studio using some of the rarest and most sought after vintage equipment available, combined with the newest digital technologies.

One of the most unique characteristics of AAngell is that rather than controlling the direction and eventual outcome, Scott Barber brings together numerous musicians, arrangers, producers and engineers to collaborate and shape the production of each of his compositions. As a result of this process, AAngell reflects an infinite pallet of creativity that is never predictable.
